Work experience for 15-16 year olds in Birmingham

I'm trying to find work experience as all other year 10 students are required to do. I live in Birmingham and I'm having difficulty in finding work experience roles for someone my age in Birmingham. I've tried searching online for work experience at Tescos, Asda, New look, M&S and several other places, but I can't find any information on work experience. I've also been to many of these stores in person and have been told to consult with the websites instead, which I've already done. Much of the work experience roles I have found are for over 16 year olds. Does anyone living in Birmingham know of any retail stores or groceries stores which would provide work experience for 15-16 year olds.Thank you

I also live in Birmingham and am finding it really difficult to find placements. I too looked up new look and I managed to find this page: http://www.newlookcareers.co.uk/?faqs
I also found Asda: http://www.asda.jobs/stores/starting-the-journey/work-experience/what-we're-looking-for/
Both have little information, the best thing to do is send a letter with your CV to your closest stores and wait to hear back.
I have done a lot of research for my work experience because I'm struggling and it seems that libraries are quite open to work experience students. I think a lot of places are stopping work experience placements now though which is why you might be finding it hard.
