Which Unis would let me study Aerospace Engineering with a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma. Some require A-Level maths at Grade A, however, I'd like to know which universities dont require the a-level.

thanks.

Hi mikaela_pascal,

I've double checked and our Aerospace Engineering Bsc does not require you to have A Level maths. We are perfectly happy for you to apply with just the BTEC as long as you are predicted 280 points at the end of your course. A lot of our students also go on to do a Masters degree with us. I will leave a link here with our course information.

I hope this helps!

Haha no worries, happy to help

Read the requirements carefully though as some universities will require specific BTEC units like: Maths & Further Maths for Engineering, Analytical Methods for Engineers or Advanced Mechanical Principals at Distinction grade and remember if you are not doing a specific unit you can ask your college to enter you for it and self teach and do the assignments yourself providing they will mark it.

Can i do Level 2 and level 3 engineering and then get accepted in uni for aerospace engineering
What about with btec science? Whilst simultaneously studying A level math, can that get me into aerospace?

I will be closing this thread as it is 8 years old, and the information long out of date.

you will have to check every universities entry requirements however generally it’s very common for A-level maths to be a requirement if you do a BTEC.
