OOOoooooooHHHHH!!!

I met a boy who is oh so handsome and I added him as a friend facebook-style!

Success! Minutes later he wrote on my wall :cool:

and this excited me.

I left it till the next day to write back as I didn't wan't to look like a desperate loser (whether I may or may not Actually be...)

And now, it's his turn to write me back, (but he mentioned that he hardley ever check internet since he doesn't have internet connection and this is most likely the reason why he hasn't)

I'm not crazy or anything but it's getting to me cos I really like him and want him to write back!!!!

If he was really into me he would have found a way to check his internet messages wouldn't he? Or maybe he's just the nonchalant type....

I don't know? :confused:

What can I do in the meantime to occupy my thoughts of this and stop checking every minute?

I'm going to check now!!!

Congratulations. You've already learned the art of trying to NOT be desperate. I like to play by 'who's court is the ball in?' myself. He leaves you a message, that means the ball is in YOUR court to respond. By replying, you're throwing the ball back to his court. Now, you're waiting to catch it again. It's crucial at this stage that you leave it at that. this is a one ball game, DON'T be temped to leave any more messages. Give it a week. No more messages, move on. In the meantime occupy yourself.

Firstly, apologies but you sound a little bit obsessed :s-smilie:

and it really isn't healthy considering you barely know the guy!

And if one does not have an internet connection, one does not have an internet connection lol! Don't worry about it - even my bf sometimes takes a whole week to reply to me (hence we've resorted to phonecalls despite the fact that it's overseas - thank God it's only within Europe!) And if this guy likes you, which he might well do, he's probably as frustrated as you are that he can't write back just yet :smile:

Or maybe he hasn't even been able to check his Facebook yet.

Don't worry about it. Go out for a walk, sleep, read a book, take a shower, watch TV, do some work - whatever. You managed to not write back til a day later, didn't you? So you can make yourself wait another day. Give yourself a routine like - I will only check for his message twice a day :p:

I do that at work whenever I make a lead. Sounds fine til I point out I wear tiny ra ra skirts to work and the second time I did one of the boys went I hope you make lots of leads in the future Rosie, for me as well as you and winked *shudders* I generally jump and sqeaul with excitment alot.

I suggest going out of the house to do something that's well knackering so you crash straight away when you get back.

If you're near the beach my personal recommendation (when light) is stunt kiting, if not the gym's a good option.

If you're lazy the pub so alcohol can conk you out!
