You can't view their profiles unless the two of you are a member of a common network. Once you're at the LSE, you'll be in the "LSE Network", alongside other LSE students. If you want to view the profile of non-networked students, the two of you will need to establish a mutual friend relationship on FB. Keeps the privacy intact.
