I sent off 2 papers as well. My exams officer told me they'd get back in 18 days, so that should be the end of this month.

They say by 31 August. In practice if you sent them off yesterday then you are likely to have them back by the end of next week (21st-ish)

Can it ever be earlier?

Possibly. They are the slowest of the 3 main exam boards at this. We've had some priority re-marks back from Edexcel and OCR this year already, but not had anything back from AQA.

For AQA? 7-20 days - it varies a bit when you order them.

If non-priority ones are so fast then what's the point of asking for a priority one?

Priority re-marks are specifically for people who need a (successful) re-mark asap to secure a university place. We've had several that were put on Thursday that have already come back.

It's always 20 September, but as that's a Sunday this year so take it as 18 September.

does anyone know, if you get rejected/unsuccessful because you missed a grade, and then got it remarked to find out you achieved the grade - is the university obligated to take you or not?

I rang up the university to inform them that I was remarking the papers and they said that if after the remark I meet the conditions of their offer they'll still accept me. I would ring admissions and ask

Wow I didn't realise they were so fast. Have most of the remarks gone up? If so, how much by?

Oh wow. I'm an AS student who sent two unit papers off today - non priority. Both papers are with edexcel. Any estimates with when it'll come back?
