It feels like its taking forever to finish the notes, oh well, at least its helping me, as I'm doing all this from memory and just some questions lying about.

Besides P3 is a monster compared to P1 :tongue: :biggrin:

If I may make a suggestion:

For integration by parts there is a way to remember where to give priority in selecting u. It goes:

L ogarithms (e.g. lnx)
I ndices (e.g. x^2)
A lgebra (e.g. x)
T rigonometry (e.g. sinx)
E xponentials (e.g. e^x)

Given a product of two functions to integrate by parts, u is ideally the function higher up this priority order.

My teacher uses "latte" (sp!) to remember it.

This is brilliant......but any chance you could giv some notes on vectors...i h8 that topic...its easy marks but i still end up messing it up....and theres not ne gud notes in th book
