Reading the thread about getting free clothes turned me into stingy git mode today and so on a (short) google search I found this site that apparently gives away free film tickets, www.freecinematickets.co.uk

It seems too good to be true though, has anyone heard about it and are there any catches?

interesting that they dont ask for your age, so that they know what films you can see

I don't know about this particular site, but it could be fine - afterall, I've been to four free, preview screenings with newspaper vouchers. Free tickets to previews are regularly given away.

Well this seems to be a good one, but I wouldn't try it unless I know it 100%

Actually they do ask for it on the sign-up page.

As for spam, I'm not that bothered because I have an old email address that became overrun with junk mail about five years ago so I just direct anything dodgy there
