Hello,

Seeing as it's the summer holidays and I'm currently at home and not on holiday, my sleeping patterns have become somewhat obsolete - I go to bed and wake up at the most ridiculous times! I'm hoping to get into good habits before I start uni again and I'm going to try and keep a sleep dairy on here to to note my sleeping habits and to motivate myself to keep going! I will be aiming for 7-7.5 hours of sleep a day with the aim of eventually waking up consistently at 6.00 am!

Feel free to join in

Here goes:

Day 1:
Woke up at:
Went to bed at: 9.16 (am!! told ya it was bad :P)

Slightly related: I keep meaning to start a dream diary, as I find that when I *do* sleep, I tend to get some fairly lucid dreams, to the point where I'm aware I'm dreaming. Although I must admit it gets freaky when I realise I'm dreaming in the middle of what feels like a LSD trip (or rather, what I'd imagine one of them to be like, having never touched anything more potent than *ahem* some whacky baccy one time)...

This happens to me as well, suddenly I realize I am dreaming and then realize that I am about to wake up so I try desperately not to wake up because I know I am dreaming so that I can do crazy things but I am never able to do them because I wake up a few seconds later

The worst has to be those dreams when you wake up feeling like you've fallen off the ceiling, except before you wake up you actually dream about flying/free falling from a skyscraper etc., and when you actually do wake up you're on the floor next to the bed, having no idea whether the dream caused you to fall, or if the falling process caused the dream
