Newcastle accom and finance

Just wondering when I should expect confirmation for my accomodation? I applied before 30 June, and also the finance says payments scheduled but doesn't have any dates? Should I just wait for emails?
You should get an email about accomdation when you've had it allocated, which should be soon but they have a lot of people to allocate accomdation to! With finance I assume that Student finance? If so when you won't be given the money until you're registered as a student offically by the uni which happens when you get there. This then allows SFE to make the payment. It usually comes in a week or so after you start. SFE are notoriously bad at letting people know payment dates so its a bit of guess work but it tends to be a week into the semester.
