How can you tell a boy you like them without saying with them words?
Valentine's day is tomorrow; you do the math.

That doesn't really tell anything. It just hints. And most people aren't good at getting hints. Even ones you think are obvious.

i suppose you got a point :s-smilie:

For men in such situations a smile and eye contact can catch a lady. May be you might want to try it out yourself. Look at the guy and smile then look away. May be play with your hair a little bit. Then look at him again and smile. A flirty smile should be something along this: http://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/1016047/2/istockphoto_1016047_attractive_young_woman.jpg>>>Only the moon's gravity will keep him away,if he is single.

I posted anonymous because its valentines day tomorrow and my girl checks my stuff some times. hope you will understand ppl

According to irisng (post #16) in this thread playing with your hair isn't necessarily flirting:

Just cus I happen to be fiddling with my hair does not mean I fancy you
So I'd expect your bloke-to-be not to take this as a sign of flirting. I certainly won't be from now on.

Or perhaps he's smart enough not to take things as signs of flirting. Women, do yourselves, and us, a favour and if you like us tell us. Then, if you want to be traditional, you can wait for him to make a move. Unfortunately this does mean you'll run a risk of embrassment. But hey, we've all got to make sacrifices.
And if I sound bitter it's because I am. At least other blokes have women flirting with them.

I am suggesting to combine hairplay with eye contact and a flirty smile. I even included a pic of what the flirty smile should be like. It is possible that a girl may play with her hair when nervous or something but combining all these together>>you have a perfect recipe for some pantomimic attraction!

The problem is, I'm not seeing an obvious 'vibe' on his part, and we're friends so I don't want to muck things up :s-smilie: I'm quite tempted to do the whole get-someone-to-find-out-if-he-likes-me thing

Heh. Feel your pain.

I don't know why you can't just tell him.

Reply 17

Well if you don't want to scare someone/ruin friends/want to find out if its reciprocated it may be a good idea not to be so explicit.

Yeah and what do you do if that person has a girlfriend already...

1) Accept that life is truly binted, and we're all gonna die.

2) Lose your sense of morality (it's specious anyway) and conduct an affair

3) If he doesn't respond to your desires to have an affair, further lose your sense of morality, followed by your sense of the intrinsic value of freedom, and conduct rape.
