Hello all,

I received my AS-Level results on Thursday, and I am wondering about how to calculate my current UMS and would appreciate some help!

I received AABB, with A's in History and English Literature, and B's in Classical Civilisation and Drama.

These are my results and individual unit grades and marks! I am very much interested in my overall UMS in all my subjects, and particularly in History!

WJEC AS-Level English Literature:
English Literature LT1: 112/120, which is an A
English Literature LT2 Coursework: 69/80, which is an A

AQA AS-Level Drama and Theatre Studies:
DRAM1, Unit 1: 93/100, which is a B
DRAM2, Unit 2 Practical: 65/80, which is an A

OCR AS-Level Classics: Classical Civilisation:
F382: Classics: Homer's Odyssey & Society: 71/100, which is a B
F384: Classics: Greek Tragedy in Its Context: 83/100, which is an A

OCR AS-Level History:
F962B History: European and World Modern 1795-2003: 90/100, which is an A
F963A History: British Medieval & Early Modern 1066-1660: 98/100, which is an A

THANK-YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP!!!!

How did you find out these marks? Is it what was on your Results sheet? Because your results sheet gives you results in terms of UMS - you use your UMS to find out your raw marks, not the other way around?

Just add up your maximum ums marks (so mostly 200) from both exams of one subject. then add up your ums from each individual exam. for example, your max ums in english lit is 200, you have 112 from the 1st and 69 from the second, so = 181/200

(these scores are ums, as ums is what is on the results sheet, not raw marks)

Add the 2 units together to find your UMS total for the subject. All these AS are out of 200.

160 or more=A
140-159=B
120-139=C
