Psychology or Health And Social Care

I'm doing a 3rd year at sixth form to get a complete A level in Chemistry for Uni.

Originally I was going to do Chemistry A2, an EPQ, Psychology AS and Health and Social care AS to fill my timetable up. However due to some personal problems, my senior tutor is letting me just do 2 subjects and an EPQ. But I can't decide whether psychology or health and social care would be a better option?

Bit of background: I've just got A levels in Biology, Food Tech and Applied Science and an AS in Chemistry. I hope to study Dietetics at University.

I went to a subject talk on health and social care and it seemed very relevant since it covered key communication skills which would be beneficial and working for the NHS which my career would involve. However I also find psychology very interesting and have seem that my course at Uni does cover a little bit of psychology, and it would definitely help if I was to specialise in mental health dietetics.

I don't think I could manage both like originally due to changed circumstances but I'm struggling to decide which would be a better choice.

I would say if you were aiming for mental health dietetics then go for psychology as its slightly more applicable to it:smile: But either would be good choices:smile:
