my instructor had a test cancelled last week cos an examiner phoned in sick - it was re-scheduled for the next day, but the candidate was actually offered a test later the same day, which he couldn't take because the instructor already had another pupil doing a test in his car at the same time! also, the day a few weeks ago when the examiners were on strike, a girl had a test cancelled, this was on a wednesday & it was re-booked for the monday after

One of my friends had his test cancelled in January cos the examiners were on strike, then had his next one on the 8th Feb which was cancelled because of snow! Aahh it's so annoying when you've worked yourself up to it

Mine was cancelled but they automatically rebooked it for the same day, just a different time - although this was about 2/3 weeks before the test, I just went and changed it again online anyway as it didnt suit.

Mine was cancelled and by the time I got around to organising a new one I had practically forgotten how to drive!

Mine was cancelled twice! It was so annoying; it wasn't weather conditions either, it's because the driving instructors were involved in a pay dispute. Both times I was sitting in the waiting room when they came and told me. I just wanted to scream, the second time I actually cried from frustration because I'd got all nervous and stuff.

They rebooked it for me, but it was for a date a long time away, so I kept looking for cancellations and changed it when I found one (although I failed that one haha  ) Then the second time was just before I went to uni so I obviously couldn't make the test they gave me, so I had to rebook it for when I was at home for the holidays (and passed!)

Mine was cancelled in December due to fog - I got a letter the next day with a new date that had been automatically assigned, but I had to change it.
My friend's had hers changed twice now (for her first test).. seems like a common occurance
