Is getting a Mac cheaper online or instore

Or is it the same price
As long as there's a way to get education discount instore (and I don't know if there is or not), then it'll be the same price in store or online. If you can't get the discount instore, then it's cheaper at the link below.

That's of course assuming that there isn't a third party store such as PC World offering a larger discount.
As long as you use your student discount, then it should be the same price. If you want to upgrade anything such as the processor or RAM on the model that you're interested in, you'll have to order online though, as Apple stores only stock Macs in their default spec. Ordering online also gives you a free AppleCare protection plan, which is something that you would have to pay for, if you were to order in store.
