Hurting, of the emotional kind

Hello everybody and happy valentine's day.
Right well where to start, yesterday my girlfriend effectively broke up with me through her friend telling me not to bother anymore. I'm willing to accept that despite the fact that it hurts... alot I am willing to accept not everything will last. It just frustrates me that I now try to talk to her to find out what it was leading to this reaction and I get nothing. I mean this was completely out of the blue and it happened not 15 hours ago, I mean day before valentine's classic aye?
Well anyway as I said before I will move on wound's heal I just needed somewhere to bleed my aching heart yada yada and I know the ears of TSR are usually very comforting, also helping anyone got any advice on how to kinda forget about her I am open to suggestions.
Going out for my birthday party tommorow with some very close and great friends though so that should help.
ANYHOW thanks for all responses you are willing to give and thanks for listening to me moan on a day of love ^^

you sound much more grown up about it than me. i drank 5 g&ts in a row and sat in the street and cried and refused to move. CLASSY.

Today is the day when women become most desperate, therefore the best day to find a replacement

Lol nice approach on things but I'm not completely for that whole get with someone else to take my mind off of it. I do think I really liked her and I mean like really I mean yeah I'm only 16 but it could of even been love I'm not sure but I guess I will never know now ^^

Go to all your female friends and steal their chocolates!

Hmm yeah I approve of that method one of my friends is getting taken out to a sushi reteraunt by her newly appointed bf, damned jealous I love sushi. She is a close friend though so I could be all like "I need someone to talk to" and tag along and eat their food ^^

Great idea! Start crying to the sushi restaurant feel sorry for you and say that its on the house!

On a serious note though, although it feels like you'll never feel better, and in all honesty you'll probably always have some feelings for her, you will eventually be able to move on and love someone again!

Aye you're right and thats the approach I adopted first thing after it happened I had a right bitch to my ex who despite how I hurt her (by no mailicious means just the fact it ended) it is ironic that she is the one who is there to comfort me in my time of need ^^

Get smashed and rant. Fairly traditional reaction I'd say.
