So, I want to do a Btec in engineering then join the navy. I'm not worried about the fitness test but I think it might be worth doing for my general health (and fitness). I'm always tired and lathargic which is probably a big reason why I failed all my A levels. Part of it is running 2.4 km in 9 minutes, do you think this is difficult as a runner. I always used to come about 5th in cross country so I'm no slow coach.

Well you can always find ways to improve your fitness. Personally I believe a level results can't be blamed on physical fitness, only the state of mind during the day of the exam

But if I'd been more fit, I'd have had more blood going to my brain when I decided to revise and so I'd... actually revise (that's my theory anyway :pierre:)

I can't lift more than 30kg or do more than 10 mins on the treadmill yet I graduated with a first this year. Must be my revision and preparation strategy

I know, but running by roads and past people strikes fear into me! It's such a stupid fear...

No, 1.5 miles in 9 minutes is not very difficult. A 6 minute mile is easily within ability of a moderately fit, young male (I'm assuming you're male).
