Ear

I had the top of my ear pierced a few months ago, and it's always been fine; there's nothing particularly wrong with it now BUT in the same ear in the cartalige in a different part (fairly far away from the piercings) there's something up. It's really painful when I touch it or anything like that and it aches generally - sort of feels like an uber spot but it's been there for ages and there's no whitehead as far as I can see. The thought of trying to pop it doesn't bear thinking about as it's definitely more painful than anything I've had before like a spot...

So could it be to do with the piercings? If it is, then I'd probably go to the Doctor as actual infections are serious, or can I rule out a piercing-related infection if it's in a completely different part of cartilage?
Sounds painful, I know what you mean. After I removed my cartiledge piercing my cartiledge was still very sensitive for weeks, like generally all over. My ear wasn't read or anything which would show for infection, I think it was just because of the trauma of having a huge ring pulled through it... if your GP is not too far away why not just go for a visit? It wont make it any worse, and if its nothing then you can forget about it
