Things you shouldn't cheap out on

Continuing the theme of budgeting and personal finances with the last thread:Top 10 things people waste money on, This time we're looking for things you shouldn't cheap out on.

What things do you think are worth spending more on to get good quality? Or perhaps something that most people don't bother buying when really they should?

One of the first things that sprung to my mind in insurance. So many people don't bother getting insurance for possessions, holidays or sometimes even cars! Yet it's a huge risk you're taking which could end up costing you tens of thousands.

Your bed, you spend half your life on it so don't skimp out.

Why microwave? We had a tesco one last us 7 years.
Insurance is for careless people so i don't need it.

I think people should not be a cheapscate when getting a gf. You don't want a STIs, lice and infections and stuff.

toilet roll. soft toilet roll is important.
I dont think cheaping out on a house is something people can just avoid like cheaping out on a new phone...

Radiation quality is poor, more likely to break down. It also doesn't do a great job of cooking anything.

Well i don't have a house. So maybe i'll think about it.

I'm healthy and stuff so i def don't need life insurance...

I spent a relatively high amount on my office chair since the desk chair I had in uni accommodation legit hurt my back....NO REGRETS!
Ketchup... the economy stuff is dire!
Srs, video games. It's in the bargain bin for a reason, it's trash.
Dessert food. If youre gonna get it, get some of nice quality

Headphones and most tech
Washing up liquid.
Musical instruments, I can really tell when someone is playing a bad quality instrument and trainers (especially of you are going to use them to play sport more than once a week)
