I'd suggest going to the doctors. In young kids chicken pox can be quite mild, but if you're older it can be a bit more severe. The doctor should be able to give you something to help combat it.

Do you think i will be off school for few weeks? I cant afford to miss school as its my final term in year 13 :frown:
It's contagious, so probably you'll have to miss a few days.

It's contagous really until after all your red blisters have scabbed over, so that could be a couple of days, it could be longer. Best to go to the doctors and get sorted as it'll probably mean it could be over quicker.

Spread it to everyone you can see. Find parents who are willing to throw a pox party for you.

oh and enjoy life because you might end up sterile.

Very constructive advice there! Definitely go and see your Dr, perhaps try and speak to your teachers if you will miss a school so you have some work to be getting on with and hope you get better soon!

Chicken pox can have an effect on male fertility, often just temporarily i think. However it is rare with chicken pox and more common with mumps.

Probably not about any of their post. The sterile comment has been dealt with, but the pox party comment is aso something hich does happen.

I've heard of paretns taking their kids round to play with children ho have chicken pox so their kids can get it. The illness can be so mild in kids compare to older people it's worth trying to get it as a child and get the immunity that brings. Very few people will ever get chicke pox a second time once they've had it.

regular paracetemol, use calomille to stop it itching, and don't scratch!
