Body language question raised eyebrow and smile

This a bit of a random question. If a guy looks at you, smiles and raises his eyebrows. What does or could that mean? I’ve looked on the net, and it doesn’t really help me.

Any input would be great

Its Klingon for "come help me raid the enterprise"

Seriously, it could mean more than one thing. Either "Heya, i'm too lazy/shy to say stuff when im trying to be nice so here is a nice expression for your enjoyment" OR "heya, this expression represents me testing the water to see how you feel about me in a potential romantic context. I will make my next move based on your reaction"
OR it could mean something completely different.

Alot of people see that as a 'Hi' / acknowledgement etc if you're passing in the street.

If someone did it to me i'd probably just smile or say a quick 'Hello' back...

It means he likes you physically but doesn't have the balls to approach you. If its a spineless chump you want....by all means pursue him :rolleyes:

Any other look would probably be categorized as someone above rightly said: "likes you physically but doesn't have the balls to approach you. " type.

If you like him why not smile back. Dont know if u can raise ur eye brow though cause that would be awesome! :biggrin:

Id see someone doing that as a sign that they cant be arsed with you, or dont value you at all, like they secretly thinking 'omg what a loser' or something along those lines.

That exact thing happened to me a while ago...only a few weeks before he tried to chat me up (this was at a bus stop) and we got talking, he asked me heaps of questions.

Then about a week later when i was on the bus he came on, sat down a few seats in front of me, turn around and smiled and also did the little eyebrow raise.

I'd say it means he has acknowleged/recognised you...i take it as a non verbal "Hey, how you doin?"

Hmmm yes, some of us are either rather shy or just lacking confidence in ourselves, me included. I hate approaching girls... probably why I'm single. Ho Hum.
