When I have a spot, I start a new thread on TSR:P.

-leave it alone completely, don't even think about touching it
-pick the scab!!!

sometimes i feel like doing option 1, sometimes option 2, i think it depends on how bad it is.

people always suggest things like moisturiser or even things like toothpaste for clearing things up, apparantly the toothpaste thing has alot of truth in it..

How can I make it look less disgusting for tonight and tomorrow?

toothpaste can also burn your skin off and leave you with... well a scab!

Reply 6

dont pick.. you will be left with a scar!

Get some Freederm or Clean and Clear medicated gel - a clear gel you apply to the area where you've got a spot. Freederm is better for clearing up your skin in general, but it takes a few days to see really good results, Clean and Clear helps to shrink the individual spot within a few hours.

I would use a good moisturiser on the scab, leave it on overnight then tomorrow the scab might have healed a little and be ready for picking off.

If it's at a squeezing stage then squeeze it, if it's not then concealer/foundation is your only option, really!

Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream works a charm on spots.

Reply 11

squeeze it. Its the only way to get rid of spots, you need to get all the gunge out.

Reply 12

If it's a scab, there's nothing left in the spot! Squeezing it would only hurt and make it worse!

according to Skins, piss on some tissue and wash it with that

When I get a spot I usually leave it until it's ready to be popped, squeeze it and then use toothpaste or vodka to dry it up.

Don't stress over a spot. I'm sure everyone will be more bothered about having a good time rather than you having a spot.

It makes me laugh sometimes when people worry over some little thing because for some reason they reckon the world revolves around them and no one has anything better to do that to study every last inch of them.
