Hi there,

340 is great, well done!

You are likely to get into a lot of courses but it depends what A level subjects you actually did?

and whether you have a course in mind that you want to go into or even an area in the UK you want to stay in?

Hi there,

I assume from the UCAS points you received AAB? I've searched for the best Engineering courses and Southampton accept ABB which you can apply for and the subjects you do now already meet the requirements.

It all depends on where you want to go, with grades like yours, you can choose where you want to study. They are extremely desirable grades!

You'll just need to look around - I've searched and the only universities that wouldn't accept it would be Cambridge and Oxford level universities, who require A*'s .

Hope this helps!
- Kath .
If you read the OP, it says that the 340 points are from four A levels. This is a very different picture from the AAB you are imagining. In addition, given that Imperial's typical offer is A*A*A, and Bristol, Loughborough, Southampton, Bath, Leeds, Exeter and UCL all require one A*, I'm not quite sure what kind of search you have done. Manchester, York, Durham, Sheffield, Lancaster, Nottingham all require AAA, which OP doesn't have. Please don't post if you aren't giving accurate advice.

Hi Punty,

Sorry about my previous post that's been highlighted. My search lead me to different places!

It would just be worth calling around to some universities that you would like to attend and seeing what is available through clearing!

It will all depend on what universities you want to go to and their entry requirements,

Just worth doing a call around.
