    Ok quick question, if you have a projectile that reaches the top of its trajectory at say S(x) = 12m and t = 1 at this point. Can you assume that at S(x) = 6m , t = 0.5 ?

    If x is the horizontal displacement, then yes.
    If x is the vertical displacement, no.
