Was this an inappropiate convo?

Im at uni and on saturdays I work, at work on a saturaday theres a group of uni students and some college students, so were all fairly young and like to have fun. Anyway there is this guy (who, just so you know I dont fancy or the sort - I have a BF) and his girlfriend works there full time (not usually saturdays)

Anyhows the week before we had all be joking about this togo party, and he isnt the party sort so it was a bit of fun, and he said 'I might dress up and go as ceaser' but it was all just a joke and a laugh.

Got to work this morning and he was all fine and stuff like normal then his girlfriend arrived and he went all quiet and stuff, when we were on our tea break me and another guy mentioned that he wasnt at the toga party and he said 'yeah I was gonna go, but then I remembered I needed my sheet to sleep on' we had a laugh and that was it, everyone was there and it was just funny and concluding the joke from last week.

Later his girlfriend said to another girl loud so I could hear 'some people here like to have inappropiate conversations with other peoples boyfriends'

Now I dont know if i should talk to him at work, I wasnt the only person talking to him and it was just talking and having a laugh...do you think it was inappropiate or insensitive to talk about this while his girlfriend was there?

No, his gf is clearly insane. That was a perfectly innocent convo, don't worry she just sounds like a bunny boiler and shouting it out like that obv loves attention and drama-just ignore her.

I second what Izzy said - are you sure she definitely did mean you? She could have been talking about somebody else.

She definately meant me, she had a huge problem with me for the rest of the day after that...

at least I can stop feeling confused about it, I didnt think it was inappropiate but just wasnt sure
