Go to your doctor! Of course you can see a female one - if there isn't one at your practise then switch!
It could be a side-effect to the pill, in which case, your doctor would be able to advise a different brand which might not have such disasterous effects on your body.
It could also be an STI so could be worth checking out - a symptom of chlamidya is a thicker discharge...
Problem is, the longer you leave something like this, the harder it is to solve. A friend's sister always had very thick discharge and heavy periods, even on the pill, and she ignored it for years. When she got to her late 20's and wanted to conceive, it turned out she was left infertile from not getting herself looked at earlier - turned out to be a combination of endometriosis and a non-treated STI...
Get an appointment with your doctor, or alternatively, go to a GUM clinic for a full checkover, including a proper smear. It's the only way to be sure...
