Racism in the LGBT community? watch

Has anyone of racial minority ever experienced racism in the LGBT community? I've been reading up online and I've noticed that it's pretty prominent, particularly towards the black people, and there are many articles in relation to asian people in the gay community experiencing racism also. Worst article of all I've read is black people being called racist names at a pride festival.

I'm gay and of a racial minority, and I've also noticed that it's there with a worryingly high amount of Grindr profiles saying 'no asians' and/or 'no blacks'. Grindr is usually full of weirdos and is simply for sex so I took no notice, but it can be reflective of a persons personality in real life not the mention the high quantity of profiles having it which is why it concerns me. I don't use sites like OkCupid etc, but I've been told it's there sometimes as well (albeit not as bad as Grindr thankfully).

That, and one of the articles I had read was saying how white men usually always get messages and responses on Grindr, where as other races rarely get replies or get ignored when their race is found out.

Honestly, it concerns me. Almost making me feel like I'm practically doomed to find a boyfriend because I'm not white and that I don't feel a part of a community that's suppose to be supportive and understanding of equality... being one minority is bad enough already.

Is the gay scene irl life like this too, what are gay people's thoughts on this, and if you do this then why?
