Hi, I'm doing history a level and its my best subject and I enjoy it the most. However I do not want to take it at Uni because I feel like it would hamper my future life. So I was wondering what courses are good to do at Uni that has some linkage with History A level and that History would help me with the course.

Extra information: I'm taking Maths, Physics and History A level but I'm not good at Maths or Physics so I'm looking to take History further into life

Maybe something like Economics & History or Economics & Philosophy? It's a good mixture of essay-based and mathematical, which would let you use the skills you achieved in your Maths A Level but doesn't rely on Maths 100%...

Why would a history degree hamper your future life? In terms of choosing a degree it's best to go for something that you have a passion for and if you like history then go for a history degree.

Other degree courses that history a level is useful for:
    - Law
    - Politics
    - Economics (link with maths a level too)
    - History (straight or with joint honours)
