Watching topical films & reading the occasional book is fine if it isn't the backbone of your revision. To give yourself a good chance at achieving an A you'll need to get a course study book, make notes, flash cards and get the information stuck in your head. Past papers are good too, but don't focus too much on specific sources, you just need to practice the technique.
