Which subjects did you hate at GCSE and why?
A lot of them, purely because they just were not interesting to me.

I hated GCSE Drama. I found the acting part fun, and I got a good grade in the end, but the written paper was awful. The marking was so subjective and we didn't learn the correct technique. We peer marked each other's work and didn't have a clue what we were doing, so everyone ended up with an A* or an A on the homework, but with a C/D in the exam...

Spanish... Mainly because of my teacher and his lack of organisation. I dropped it in the end to concentrate on my other subjects.

always hated maths - the teacher I had was appalling and by the end of y10 I didn't care anymore and just coasted through until I knew I didn't have to take it at a level lmao. also hated English language, again, the teacher I had in y11 was awful and the coursework topics we studied were really boring compared to all the other classes

Yes! Many people decided to just go with it despite hating it so much! I just couldn't do that. It was torture!

And yes, pretty much everyone HATED it in our class. Even more reason to blame the teacher!

I think what made it worse was that we were promised a trip to Spain. Then it was cancelled to save money! That's what annoyed me the most.

Yeah my decision to drop it wasn't taken lightly (I did study it for about 4 years), but I thought it would be worth doing to concentrate on everything else. I think it was worth it!

Ikr, we were promised a trip in History which never materialised... (still love history though)

Yeah i get what you mean, i did feel like spending time on Spanish coursework and stuff would detract from my other subjects, in the end it didnt i don't think it did. Im glad it worked out for you as well
