Hey. I did the maths GCSE 1 year early and found out I got an A but was 1 mark off an A*. What should I do? Is it worth getting it remarked?

You can try, but they usually mark maths quite accurately the first time.

If you have £50 to gamble with. I have only once seen a successful GCSE maths remark go up by 1 mark from A to A*

Why did you do it early? You surely would have achieved the top grade if you had taken the exam at the appropriate time.

If your parents have the money to burn, I'd just get it remarked in the slight chance it could go up to an A*.

If they don't, then don't bother since it's probably less likely to go up than an essay subject.
