Is Edexcel Triple Science hard or difficult?;would it be better if i did core and additional?
...................
In my year 9 end of year exams,I did a P1 physics test and somehow managed to get 65/80-which was equivalent to an A (5 marks away from an A* on the test.)
Because of this,I'm most likely going to be doing Triple Science;so,I was wondering whether the workload was a lot and the topics tougher and harder to understand compared to the ones in Additional Science.
...........
If anything I'm considering taking maybe two of the sciences to AS/A level.

I did core and additional, it was easy. To be honest, nobody had an advantages at A level because they did triple at GCSE. I'd do triple, since you find it pretty easy.

I'm taking AQA's Triple Science and if Edexcel is similar you will be learning the same material (and a bit extra) but in a slightly different format

In Core + Additional the units are arranged into 2 GCSEs which each encompass a bit of each science e.g.

Core - Physics 1 + Biology 1 + Chemistry 1 + a Controlled Assessment
Additional - P2 + B2 + C2 + another CA

In Triple Science you work towards 3 GCSEs each being a separate science

Physics - P1 + P2 + P3 + a Physics Controlled Assessment
Chemistry - C1 + C2 + C3 + a Chemistry Controlled Assessment
Biology - B1 + B2 + B3 + a Biology Controlled Assessment

There's more work but you get an additional GCSE

EDIT : Forgot to mention that the units are mostly similar in difficulty

I did triple science, you only do one extra exam on each of the sciences and they are only short sections. I'd take it because it is an extra GCSE but, make sure you stay on top of it to get the best grades
