Being from Australia, I am foreign to the personal statement system. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for apply to Land Economy at Cambridge.
Everyone says that you should have done prior reading and be prepared to talk about that in your interview. However, as Land Economy is multi-disciplinary degree that focuses on Economics, Law, and the Environment, and it is not a commonplace subject I am unsure of how to approach this. I am currently doing the IB, doing HL Economics, so do you think it will be necessary to do prior reading for economics?
Also, are there any general tips for the interview and PS. If there are any successful applicants on this forum then I would really appreciate some advice. Thanks.

I'm also applying, there's a reading list for new students on the Cambridge website here http://www.landecon.cam.ac.uk/course...r-new-students You could try a few of them? I read The Triumph of the City which is on the list and would recommend it. I think if you're already studying Economics you should maybe try and read books that focus on the other aspects of the course otherwise the interviewers might question why you are applying for Land Economy and not Economics, that's what I'm trying to do anyway!
