Don't buy any text books until you find out which one your college wants you to use. Your chemistry and physics A levels follow the new syllabus and new text books are being published for them (I don't know about wjec and biology).

You do not need a graphical calculator for A level maths. They have very limited benefit and are not worth the cost for the vast majority of people who get one, they are a bit more helpful if you choose further maths but even then they are far from essential. Some people on your course will have them, wait and see how useful they are before you spend (waste) your money.

A couple of pens and paper should do.

Also get a graphical calculator, they give you free marks in the exam.
I would be ****ed without mine.
