What's it like in Whiteknights/Windsor hall ?

Windsor's great. Good room sizes, lots of people on our corridors so you'll make friends no problem.

Food is supposedly best on campus but I haven't eaten at other halls... to be honest though it's not bad at all. Edible and all.... gets a bit boring after a while though!

For lazy gits like me it's perfect cos it's nearest to the main lecture buildings (when you can be bothered to go :P)

It's also right next to the main post depot thing so if you get mail, you haven't got far to go.

To be honest I'd say Windsor's the best hall on campus. I quite liked Sherfield and St Georges for the ensuite stuff, but it's not worth the extra money in my opinion. Communal showers and bathrooms really are ok once you get used to it, and I'd rather spend the extra money on catered accomodation and more nights out! Hope that helps.

windsor isn't en suite. But I really wouldn't let it put you off. Cleaners clean it every weekday and I've never had to wait cos the showers are busy...

In windsor it's 25 to 5 bathrooms or on the smaller floor I think there are only 4 bathrooms. Depends what floor you are on too as the top 3 floors have the nicer bathrooms :biggrin:

WHAT?! Windsor hall is not ensuite? Is it not self catered either? On the website it says it is both....i have applied for that and have got the offer assuming it was...Greenow part of windsor hall....
