The Model House of Commons should be nominating people for Honours, especially those outside the political sphere. Following the conversation in the Bar earlier today.

To recommend to the Prime Minister and Her Majesty the Queen

    Four for starters

Simon Pegg, for services to Acting and Directing in Film and Television
Mark Berry, for campaigning against fracking
Caroline Criado-Perez, who has campaigned for women to be on bank notes
Josie Rourke, for services to Theatre (Josie is the Donmar Warehouse artistic director)

(I did consider **** Advocaat for services to the people of Newcastle, but as a non-UK resident he is ineligible).

Campaigning for women to be on bank notes is not worthy of any award :L

Her works have enriched this country culturally and enriched the Treasury through tourism and taxes. Not to mention here huge charitable contributions.

Yes I do, but I feel Aph has matured more now, to understand we are simply recognising and awarding his greatness, his work, and his never ending determination rather than having a joke!

    Can I be knighted?

Why don't we make Dame Judy Dench into Dame Dame Judy Dench?

If this is done by popular vote I can see a lot of undeserving people getting them, I mean how is campaigning against Fracking and for women on notes honour worthy?
