    Hi.

I've just got my gcse results and I got an a* in French Whoo

I'm just wondering how hard is french a level?
What is the speaking exam like?
Is the speaking exam bad for somebody who can be a bit shy?
Will my teacher make me speak french in front of the class?
    What does it involve?
    Anything else i should know?

    It's fairly hard.
The speaking exam is stressful but doable.
No, because I managed to do decently in it.
    Yes.
Topics like health, technology and relationships; writing a ~300 word essay; learning French.
You should know that it's like almost any other A level and requires some hard work.

Franch is really difficult in the first year but pretty easy at A2
The speaking exam is ok if you prepare well, like any other exam, but most people find it very nerve wracking as you really get put on the spot. However, most people tend to think the speaking exams have gone badly but then end up doing better than they thought they did,. I developed an awful stammer during mine, but still got a decent B in that exam
I'm really shy but I actually feel more confident when I speak French for some reason so I found the speaking exams ok

Whether or not your teacher will make you speak French entirely depends on the teacher
