This might seem like a horrible question, I have no rude intentions so please bear with me.

We are middle class, usually we would go on one long haul holiday and a city break or two. This year we went to London and Scotland, we're just back from New York and Washington it was about £4-5000 so very expensive for a city.

What i'm wondering though is how ordinary working class people can afford so many holidays. I know a girl and to be honest she's got far less money than us and would maybe make £500 a month. Obviously enough to go on one holiday but this girl has just returned from Turkey for two weeks and is now away to Portugal for two weeks.

Another boy I know is just back from a cruise and now away to Amsterdam!

I always thought my type of holidays (and no) were above average! After our holiday this year we can't afford to go anywhere else (maybe a week in Spain but that's it) I find myself wondering how all these people can afford to go away so much.

I would love to know their trick or if their is a secret because i'm finding it hard to go away more than once!? Sometimes I feel like these people get more things/holidays than me and with less money, i'm happy for them! I just wonder how they can sustain it!
