Like many others i recently found that i have underachieved in my GCSE's-A*/A/A/A/B/B/B/B/C. However i know that i could've definitely done better since my predicted grades were 6A*s/1B/and rest A's but me being the cocky dumb s$?t i am didnt revise at all, im talking nothing until the day before and therefore got what i deserved. My question is can i still go on to succeed attending a top University (eg.LSE) for something like finance or is attending very good uni's out of reach for me now, like how important are GCSE's when applying for a very good uni? I used to want to do medicine but i feel i'd have no chance with grades like these.

You can still do medicine but only if you put hard work into A levels. Also, universities look at A-levels more than GCSE's.

You passed all your exams and GCSEs are just a doorway to doing your A-levels so as long as you work hard at A-levels, you'll be fine.
