Please can someone help me with the dilemma?

I'm 9 UMS points (about 3% in total) away from getting the A Grade that I need in French (AQA). If I paid, would I get all of my controlled assessments (oral/written) remarked, as well as the exam I took this summer?

Also... Is it worth it? Am I close enough?

    Thanks,
    Dan
Firstly, when getting a remark you pick certain or multiple exam papers to be sent to be marked again. This does not include coursework or controlled assessments, these cannot be remarked because they were marked by your teacher. Only exam papers can be remarked, also it is very very very rare for marks to go up or down by more than a few marks. Honestly I doubt your marks will change that much as , AQA French does contain many multiple choice questions which are either right or wrong, there is only a few long awnser questions which could perhaps be slightly subjective. However it is up to you if you want to remark your exam papers but honestly I doubt the marks will change enough for it to give you enough marks for an A.

Actually french writing can be re-marked, if it was externally marked originally.

9 UMS is a lot to gain.

You can't get the oral re-marked and there is very little chance of mis-marking on the exams. Your school will have marked the writing in-house before sending it off to be marked by AQA. Ask your school what mark they think you should have got. If it is much higher than you were awarded then go for it, if not accept that there is no point trying.

I just got my french re-mark back - I had the writing re-marked as my teacher told me it was A*, yet it was marked as a B. It went up 8 UMS and my overall grade has gone up to an A.
