i havent had them personally. I would check with the doctor. My nan had them not long ago when in hospital every 4 - 5 hours. She reported spinning room, confusion, disorientation, pain in the eyes to bright lights. Check with doc tho!

It is a very stron pain killer and a derivative of morphine i think. THe best thing to do is see your GP asap and tell them all the side effects.

dizzyness is common with tramadol, but not so much with the bad headache.
make sure to take paracetemol as well - if the headache stays then consider asking the doctor to prescribe something else instead.
when you go to the GP be sure to take all of your pills with you too...

I wasn't prescribed it by my GP. I was prescribed it by an A&E consultant. My GP told me to go to A&E for pain relief as she wouldn't give me anything as I'm under a consultant at the hospital. She also told me to go privately as the NHS won't be able to deal with me. :frown: I'm not going to take tramadol again today and I'll ring the hospital in the morning. Thanks for your replies.
