    Hi

This may seem like a silly question, but I was wondering if you were allowed to have your own kettle in your bedroom in Halls, or are they only allowed in the kitchen areas?

    Thank you

generally they are only allowed in the kitchen but it should say on your uni accomodation website

As above, the uni's accommodation website should give information on what you are and are not allowed in your bedroom. In my experience kettles have generally not been 'allowed', but having said that, I had a small kettle in my room when I was in halls and it was never an issue.
