I'm commuting too! I was thinking the same about freshers week as I guess a lot of people will stick with the people in their halls 🙈

What are we supposed to do for freshers week if the trains finish at like 10? I'm commuting from about an hour away so don't really know what to do about freshers..

Either just need to have a really wild party night that finished at 5 in the morning?? Or try make really good friends that might let you stay with them a night or two?

I can't afford it either. Student accommodation is really expensive! It is much cheaper for me to commute.
