    I got 116/200 for my Maths edexcel GCSE. 125 is an A. Would a remark get me thoes 9 marks?

    To be honest I doubt it as there's no subjectivity in maths marking, unless they've made a terrible mistake like adding the marks up wrong (which are very rare)

    Sorry to break it to you but no.
    The examiner would've had to of accidentally missed out a page if you think a remark would help you gain an extra 9 marks.

    Like, there are marks for working and they could've missed 9 of them?

    If you strongly believe they made a mistake, then go for it You get your money back if the GRADE goes up.

    But as other people say, it's very unlikely due to the very "it's either right or wrong" nature of maths.

    The majority of remarks are unsuccessful. There's a small chance that a method mark might be missed, a tiny chance of two but 9 marks in GCSE maths is very unlikely. If you have £50 that you are happy to risk losing or you are certain they have under marked you then give it a go.
