I've just got my GSCE results (3A's, 3B's, 4C's and an unfortunate 1-mark-off-a-c grade in I.T) and although they could have been better with more revision, I'm happy that I've got good grades in the subjects I'm hoping to study.
I got an A in English Literature (177 out of 200), an A in History (170 out of 200) and an A in Media Studies (173 out of 200) and I'm hoping to study these at AS along with Sociology.
The books for my English AS course are The Bloody Chamber/Hamlet/Streetcar Named Desire and we're doing Christina Rossetti poems. For History we'd be studying the Tudors and The American Dream...
If you've done/are doing any of these courses I would appreciate any info on how difficult the course is/how enjoyable you found it/the workload and organisation needed, etc etc. I'm a bit wary of doing English Lit/History as I've always had a confidence issue when it comes to how good I am at it...
