Going out for a drink always comes across as friendly and wanting more since its just the two of you, tis' a classic but always works a treat :p:

Then the chances are she doesn't think of you as more than a friend. If you ask her out to a drink it can be taken either way, if she assumes it is "something more" then it is becasue she is also thinking that way. If she assumes it is friendly and wants to invite other people then she probably isn't thinking of you that way. Or she could be shy... but I think thats less likely...

Does she need to know? I mean as long as she knows you're going to be alone together, then it'll be absolutely obvious how she feels...

hmm im in the same boat here... i really like this girl who ive only met once, but we talk loads on online and we've became pretty good friends. I invited her out to meet up with me, and i asked if she wanted to meet with a group but she said she'd rather it be us 2 alone.. so im guessin thats a sign that she likes me too?
or am i wrong yet again and will i never understand girls?

I have no idea.
Be a gentleman and get her drink, then ask her the question then. Prey to God that the right answer comes out, if its seems to go worng. Then use the excuse of being drunk.

Not a fine plan, bit cowardy, but, if thats one option. (I haven't tried this, so i don't personly recommend it)

Yeh, asking her out for a drink is best.

She'll really only assume that it's a date if she's interested.
