Due to circumstances I left school in year 9 and had no kind of education until about March this year, when I became home schooled. The only GCSE I sat was science, which I recently got my results for. I am supposed to be going into a-levels this year and was wondering whether I can be home-schooled / tutored for the first year of my a-levels and go on to sixth form for the second year, without the other GCSE's I need, or if I can put my other GCSE's on hold, whilst I do my first year of a-levels and do the GCSE's if and when I need them.

Are you completing A levels as a home schooled student or are you joining a different school or sixth form college?

Is there a way I could complete my first year at home and go to school for the second? I'm really unsure of how the system works

Yes there is, in fact a number of our international students complete the first year at home in their own country and then come to college in the UK for the second year.

Do you know what syllabus your college are following?
