    Some pupils who get the right A-level results for their preferred degree courses – but only after having papers re-marked and upgraded – are being told their university places have already gone.

    Yes lost place at Durham University by a grade that went up on the remark. Their attitude was -so what. blame the exam board. There are a lot us stuffed by a crazy system.. There is always going to be human error in marking or numerical error -but Durham just think offering a place in 2016 lets them off the hook. Beware -the word should be spread think very carefully about making them first choice and think carefully about your back up choice. Anyone choosing places for 2016 ask Uni at Open Days
