Let's say a person practising a religion looses their memory or develops dementia and they forget that they're practising a religion.
Will the person still go to heaven?

I would think so. Its not as though they have deliberately and mindfully made a decision to reject God. preferring not to spend an eternity with him.

They are more likely to get in if they forget to practice a religion and call out to God for him to instigate a relationship.

Jesus came to do away with religion.
