Okay so whenever there's news of a celebrity/rich person buying or selling a house (palace/mansion more like) its always '9 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms' whats the logic behind building houses that have as many or MORE bathrooms than bedrooms? Its completely insane, I just dont get it.

Maybe if they had a medical condition that meant they might need to get to a bathroom really quickly?

For the benefit of guests, or convenience.

Each bedroom may have an en-suite, but they may also want downstairs bathrooms, or a big grand one somewhere, etc. Maybe the pool/gym area that such houses have will have a bathroom. Maybe the builders bought too many toilets.

Imagine 10 builders/plumbers/electricians came to your house one day and all coincidentally needed to do a **** after their curry lunch. You're not going to let them take a dump in your bathroom, are you? :curious:

I like to **** in 12 different places every day. Having 12 bathrooms in my house is the most pheasable way of achieving this goal.

The reason is quite simple, really.
If they discover a spider inhabiting one of their bathrooms, they can easily switch and use one of the many bathrooms their residence has to offer. That is, until they come across another spider chilling in the bathtub

they have a lot of parties.
they might want to sell it for tonnes of profit later.
Mike Tyson I believe sold 50 Cent a mansion.
the bigger and more lavish the more profit, duh.

Forward thinking perhaps? - it is much more difficult to convert bathrooms into other general purpose rooms (for obvious reasons. Spare/office rooms, however, can be converted into additional bedrooms to sell to someone who may want more bedrooms for whatever reason. Obviously this would not apply to everyone - some may just have many guests/people working around the house frequently, or simply desire more bathrooms for whatever arbitrary reason simply since they can afford to.*

To test one's fitness by trying to flush all of the toilets in the house before the water tank for the first one stops making that filling-up sound. All the celebs are doing it.
