Hello all,

I intend to apply to HMC for the 2015 academic year to read law. Am 25 y/o this year. Could use some advice with regards to the application process. Also, I am an international applicant with rather unconventional qualifications. Nothing particularly stellar but excellent nonetheless (at least I'd like to think that, LOL!).

Would love to hear your stories, and invaluable advice.

ah, excellent! i look forward to meeting you provided we are both lucky enough to get in!

how do you think your chances are? mine are a bit ropey. im going to have to rely on potential and an interesting life experience mostly. and i will obviously have to get straight A's in my access course this year.

i reckon im either a definite yes or a definite no. i cant see there being much in between :/

i also have rather unconventional qualifications. i will let you know how it works out for me

from what i can gather from the website and from speaking to people they seem to be a college that is more likely to take a chance on someone like us as they have an emphasis on giving people a chance who may not have had one otherwise. at least i hope this is the case!

Hi All,

I'm also applying to study Law at HM for 2014 entry.I'm also coming from a fairly non-traditional background and my current profession has NOTHING to do with law. Currently doing the CertHE in Legal Method at Birkbeck. Sat my LNAT last week, which was easier than I had anticipated from the practice tests I did. How is everyone getting on? I've submitted everything now, so I suppose all I can do is wait....

I'm applying for 2015's intake though. I wish you all the best, and don't forget to let me know how it went when you're in. I'm already excited for all of you

Also, it'd be great if we could be friends on Facebook.
